YOGA AWARENESS WORKSHOP

Tedd Surman introduces Raja Yoga and the teachings of Patanjali from the Krishnamacharya - Desikachar lineage.

The Yoga Awareness workshop is for 2.5 hours. We practice asana for nourishing your body, pranayama for expanding your life-force and meditation for strengthening your mind. After the workshop you are welcome to stay for an open group discussion (30 minutes) about Yoga and Ayurveda.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of students. The 'beginner's mind' is the best mind for this yoga workshop, no matter if you're an advanced practitioner or an absolute beginner. Physical limitations are no constraint for doing this workshop.

Yoga Awareness workshops are instructed by Tedd Surman. Tedd is from New Zealand and began practicing Yoga in 1990. From 1997 he trained with American Viniyoga Institute for several years in Hawaii. Tedd started traveling to India in 2001, studying for two years at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandarim and has continued every year to study in India with his current Yoga teachers from the Krishnamacharya-Desikachar lineage. Tedd also studies healthcare with Indian Ayurveda doctors.
