Generally speaking, Japanese foods are very healthy. Sushi, Tempura, ShabuShabu and Sukiyaki are well known by western people. We don’t eat them every day but Japanese home cooking and regular dishes can be very salty. During my Wellness Retreat in Maui, I tried to ingest natural foods like fruits and vegetables as much as possible. WHAT OILS CAN I EAT FOR HEALTH ?

There are three major factors affecting one's relationship to fats: the processing (karana), the quantity (rasi) and the inherent nature (prakriti) of each type of fat. One must start by buying good quality fats and oils. In the kitchen we are heating many oils inappropriately which is changing their nature and causing disease. You need many different types of fats in the diet and yes, you should watch how much of them you eat to some extent. We perceive our world through the indriya-s, which are our senses. There are five jnana indriya-s which are 'taste, touch, smell, sight and hearing'. The sole purpose of the indriya-s is to collect information from the external world and transmit this information to our manas mind, the external aspect of our mind which is closest to the outside world. This information is then processed by our buddhi mind which is the intellegent aspect of our mind. The inner mind then transmits this processed information to our consciousness. Our consciousness then determines our feelings about the outside stimuli, whether we like or dislike the sensation of taste, touch, smell, see or hear.
