Self-Care Wellness Training Retreats in Waikiki, Hawaii are for 5 days to teach you self-care methods of health and healing that you can use at home daily. Come join Tedd Surman and Masumi for a program of holistic health and wellness for your natural health. This is a restful, relaxing and life-changing experience while enjoying the aloha atmosphere of the Hawaiian Islands. Each day is a combination of experiencing and learning about Yoga and Ayurveda for 5 hours per day to empower you with holistic methods of caring for yourself, friends and loved ones.
• Enjoy staying in famous Waikiki and explore surrounding attractions.
• Practice, taste, learn and experience Yoga and Ayurveda.
• Develop skills over the 1 to 5 days Self-Care Retreat for your personal self-care at home.
• Take-home a wellness box of Ayurveda remedies to continue your home practice.
• Develop an ongoing relationship with Tedd and Masumi for support with online assessments for personalized home self-care routines and Ayurveda remedies.

Meet at the Barefoot Beach Cafe (Queens Beach Park).
9:30 AM
Yoga Class (60 mins) Waikiki Outdoor Park with Masumi (unsuitable weather then class at our studio).
10:30 AM
Walk together from Queens Beach to Yoga Awareness studio Kuhio Ave.
11:00 AM
Self-Care Discussions / Q&A's (60 mins) with Tedd and Masumi using the healing methods of Yoga and Ayurveda. Learn about the Ayurveda principles, Yoga principles, Ayurveda food and cooking lessons, eating "do-s and don't-s", self assessments, understanding personal health issues, selecting home remedies and how to apply at home.
12:30 PM
Organic Lunch (30 mins) freshly cooked Ayurveda lunch with local vegetables, tofu, dates, etc.
1:00 PM
Ayurveda Practicum
Teach self-care standing Abhyanga self-treatments that you can continue daily at home. This is a practical way of learning synchronized abhyangam techniques, with first-hand experience of the healing powers of oil. During the 1-5 day training retreat enjoy the accumulative benefit of oiling daily, receiving natural herbal Ayurvedic oils that are imported directly from Kerala, India. After the self-treatment you can do a hot towel wipe down.
1:30 PM FINISH
Leave our studio and walk to Kuhio Beach (1 block away) for a swim in the beautiful calm topical waters. Afternoon swimming is always the warmest or just standing in the shallow lagoon for negative ionization effects. Or go shopping, resting, sightseeing excursion, etc.
Optional Extra Cost: During and after completion of your training retreat we can recommend Ayurveda Remedies that are ideal for you to continue your daily self-care at home. These can be provided for you to take-home or we can mail a wellness box anywhere within the United States.
