Then up to 6 months internship

Students who are currently participating or have completed the one year Yoga Awareness Sadhana will be invited to join the Teacher Internship, and may be given the opportunity to be a Student Teacher at Yoga Awareness.

The Teacher Intership is an advanced training which grooms you as a Yoga teacher. This was developed by Ted Surman and DV Sridhar in India to meet the Western teaching dynamics while upholding the Eastern teachings. Your dedication to professionalism and service strengthens the Yoga Awareness teaching sanga, and gives you skills for any other teaching environment.

Training Format
• 4 days training
• 4 catered lunches
• 24 observation &
demonstration classes
(within a 6 month period) with Ted Surman
• 24 homework
(drawn sequences of each class, to be handed in
and discussed briefly each week)
• 6 privates
(written critiques of you teaching open class)

Participation

Those wishing to participate must have the willingness to learn, practice and to share the knowledge gained. The 'beginner's mind' is the best mind for this Training, no matter if you're an advanced practitioner or an absolute beginner. Physical limitations are no constraint for this training.

Certification

Students who successfully complete the Yoga Teacher Internship will be awarded a Yoga Awareness Teacher Certification.
